Miniature Rottweiler?

I receive the following questions so frequently, I've given them their own page.

Are your dogs miniature Rottweilers, or miniaturized Rottweilers?

No, my dogs have no Rottweiler ancestry. I have never, and will never, breed to a Rottweiler. ( I think they're great dogs, but their size alone would set me back years.)

Are they MiniRotts?

No, they're Carlin Pinschers. I feel strongly that giving them a cute or trendy name is degrading. They are not a designer, flash-in-the-pan breed; nor are they intended to be exact clones of a Rottweiler. I take my dogs and breeding program very seriously, and feel they deserve to be called by a name which reflects this.
